Joseph Grilliot -
Temporarily Incorporated

Joseph Grilliot, C.PP.S., was temporarily
incorporated into the Community during a liturgy on January 7 at St. Charles Center in Carthagena, Ohio. Grilliot a native of Versailles, Ohio, entered initial
formation with the Missionaries of the Precious Blood in 2004, and now moves on to advanced formation for the
priesthood. He will now begin advanced studies at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago.

While in special formation, he lived at St. James the Less Church in Columbus and Sts. Peter and Paul Church in Ottawa, Ohio, both pastored by Missionaries of the Precious Blood.

Brother Tomás Chamaya Alva
Definitive Incorporation in Perú

Candidate Alex Chasnomote Puge makes his temporary incorporation to Fr. Dionisio Alberca, C.PP.S., during  a liturgy held January 24 in Lima, Peru. Also making his temporary incorporation was Henry Carhuancho Trujillo. Renewing their incorporations were Fredy Campos Toribio and Rufino Flores Vidal.

Bob Jansen made his first commitment
to the Precious Blood Community during
a liturgy held during the Provincial
Assembly on May 16. Jansen, a native
of St. Henry, Ohio, has completed initial
formation with the Missionaries of the
Precious Blood. He now moves on to
special formation. He will spend the
next year living in community with the
Missionaries in ministry at St. Agnes
Church in Los Angeles. Jansen, the
son of Paul and Judy Jansen of St. Henry, is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Ind.

July 2, 2007

Fr. Mauricio Restrepo
Makes First Commitment

On July 2, 2007, Fr. Mauricio Restrepo of the
Colombian Mission ad experimentum was
welcomed as a temporarily incorporated
member of the Congregation. He completed
his year of special formation in Rome and in
Peru.

Fr. Ernest Ranly, CPPS, director of the mission,
presided at the Eucharist at the CPPS house
in Bogotá. Fr. Restrepo’s family was on hand
to join in the celebration.

Also present were C.PP.S. Frs. Armando Rivas, director of formation for the theologate, Angelmiro Granados and Abelardo Ibaceta, along with the temporarily incorporated students of the Latin American theologate in Colombia.
