Brunner Grants Available
In honor of our bicentennial year, the Missionaries of the Precious Blood are doubling the funding for Fr. Brunner peace and justice grants for 2015-2016.
Brunner grants are awarded to organizations or individuals who request funding for projects that advance the cause of peace and justice in our world. For more than 20 years, Brunner grants have helped fund clinics, schools, text book projects, prison ministry, urban centers and other initiatives. The Brunner fund originated with proceeds from the sale of Brunnerdale, the province’s former minor seminary near Canton, Ohio.
This year only, the Cincinnati Province will disburse upto $100,000 in grants; normally, the province gives out up to $50,000 in Brunner grants annually.
The individual grant limit, normally $5,000, has been increased to $7,500 for this year.
The application deadline is August 1. Application forms are available below in English and Spanish.
