What drew you to the Missionaries of the Precious Blood?
The fine example and words of encouragement from the CPPS priests who ministered at St. John the Baptist Parish in Whiting, Indiana.

What is your current assignment?
Retired.

What is the most challenging aspect of your assignment?
Making the adjustment from 54 years of active ministry to retirement.

What is the most rewarding aspect of your assignment?
I now have more quality time to read, pray, golf, and just plain relax and still enjoy the privilege to minister as “fill-in” at parishes when needed.

What did you do before joining the Missionaries?
I joined Brunnerdale high school Seminary after eighth grade in 1948.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy travelling, reading, golfing, and wood carving.

Aside from St. Gaspar, who are some of your favorite Saints?
St. Therese of Lisieux, St. Pope John Paul II, St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta.

What is your favorite prayer?
The Our Father and Hail Mary.

What is your favorite:
Book: Bible; Bill O’Reilly’s three books: The Killing of Jesus, The Killing of Lincoln, The Killing of Patton
Food: No one item in particular. I’ve been blessed with a universal appetite.
Holiday: Christmas and Easter
 

How much could you earn on Jeopardy?
Very, very little but I would have fun trying.

Would you rather go skydiving or snorkeling?
Rather fly and/or snow ski.
