Reconciliation is God's work.

It is God who heals, God who reaches out, God who opens our ears and changes our stubborn hearts. As Missionaries of the Precious Blood we foster reconciliation - between neighbors, between nations - with an attitude of prayerful listening.

This ministry of reconciliation lies at the heart of what
we do. As contentious, cantankerous humans, we often
find ourselves at odds with others. We feud with our
family. We struggle against our own nature. We lash
out at God and at each other when we are hurt or
scared.

But God promises forgiveness and peace to his people.
"I will give you a new heart and place a new spirit
within you, taking from your bodies your stony hearts
and giving you natural hearts," he says (Ezekiel 36:26).

When Jesus poured his blood out on the cross, he did it to bring all people back into that holy covenant. We see the power in that life-giving blood, as relevant, as necessary, to the world today as it was in 1 C.E. Through God's grace we proclaim the healing power of the Blood of Jesus to save the world. And each of us.
