Catastrophizing is what we do when we start thinking about what bad things could happen, and it gets out of hand. Fr. Garry Richmeier offers guidance on how to avoid this mindset.

Fr. Ben Berinti, C.PP.S., pastor of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Melbourne Beach, FL, and member of the C.PP.S. provincial council, has published a chapbook entitled Are You Willing to Drink? Cups of the Covenant from Passover to Eucharist. The short, focused publication examines the “Four Cups of the Passover” celebration and the Eucharistic cup offered by the Lord in the Gospel of Luke. The Cups of Passover are the foretastes of the cup that Christ offered in his passing over—the cup of his Blood.
Fr. Ben’s inspiration in writing the chapbook was to find a way to lift the chalice of Christ’s Precious Blood and to draw others to discover the cruciality of Eucharistic nourishment and survival. Fr. Ben’s hope is that, through his words and their own reflection, readers are led to a lasting, deeply grounded Eucharistic revival in their lives.
The chapbook is available for purchase for $15.00 by cash or check only at the Eucharistic Convocation in St. Louis, June 17-20, sponsored by Missionaries of the Precious Blood.
