“Team C.PP.S.” was honored on February 6 at Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer, Ind., as the Missionaries of the Precious Blood were inducted into the SJC Athletic Wall of Honor. The wall was established in 2006 to recognize the accomplishments of outstanding athletic teams.

The many C.PP.S. members who have ministered at the college may not be a traditional athletic team, but they have certainly been a great support to the students, staff and faculty of the college, which they sponsor. In presenting the award, the collge noted, “In the 126 year history of Saint Joseph’s College, these missionaries have dedicated themselves to strengthening our athletic programs serving as coaches, advisors, administrators, and fans.”

Representing the C.PP.S. were Fr. Timothy McFarland (’78), Fr. William Stang (’72) and Br. Tim Hemm (’70). With them in the photo are Alumni Association President Lou Offer (second from left) and SJC President Robert A. Pastoor (far right).

Congratulations, Team C.PP.S.!
