St. Charles Center and its chapels will remain closed to the public/visitors through the end of June to shield its residents from the coronavirus, No visitors are allowed in Brunner Hall (guest rooms) or Merlini Hall (the infirmary). Lay residents have been asked to limit their guests as well.

“With the rest of the public opening up, we just thought it better to see how June progresses before we open up St. Charles,” said Amy Day, facilities manager. “We hope that in July we will be able to open up a little and get to a new ‘normal.’ The residents are certainly ready for activities to start back up. We miss the family members and friends who visit, and we thank everyone for their help in keeping our residents healthy.”
