Fr. Jeffrey Kirch, C.PP.S., was elected vice president of the Conference of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM) during the organization’s national assembly on August 3-4. Fr. Kirch will continue to serve as provincial director of the Cincinnati Province of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood.
Brother Kevin Griffith of the Christian Brothers was elected CMSM president.
The Conference of Major Superiors of Men (CMSM) is the pontifically recognized national representative organization serving leaders of men’s religious congregations, monastic communities, and religious institutes in the United States.
It represents its member organizations before a number of national and international bodies, including the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the Holy See, in particular the Congregation for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life (CICLSAL).
