Brother Tom Bohman, C.PP.S., who grew up on a farm in Osgood, Ohio, is in ministry at St. James the Less Parish in Columbus.
Brother Tom likes this story, which resonates with him: someone once asked a religious sister when she decided to become a sister. She answered, “This morning.”
Deciding to follow your vocation “is a constant thing,” Brother Tom says. You have to work at it, and pray every day to make a go of it. There are a lot of distractions and reasons to go in other directions, away from your spiritual life. It’s also about community–and the people you meet along the way. I’m glad I joined the community I’m with. I enjoy being with them in community.”
