Worship with the Missionaries of the Precious Blood at St. Charles Center
Beginning Sunday, September 10, a visiting Missionary will preside and preach twice a month at the 9 a.m. Sunday Mass in our beautiful Assumption Chapel at St. Charles Center, 2860 US 127, Celina, Ohio. After Mass, the Missionary will lead a 40-minute faith formation presentation and discussion session that will help the faithful find new fruits in God’s Word.

This is a part of the Missionaries’ emphasis on evangelization through the Eucharist, said Fr. Jeffrey Kirch, C.PP.S., provincial director of the United States Province. “We already worship with many people from the area who gather with our Missionaries for Mass on Sunday,” he said. “We are issuing this open invitation for all to join us for Mass, then stay for a presentation that we all can learn from.”
After Mass, worshippers are welcome to stay for the presentation in the Gaspar Room. Coffee and light refreshments will be offered during the presentation.
St. Charles, a former seminary, is a retirement home for Missionaries, but it is also a mission house of the Community, said Fr. Kirch. “We hope that our Sundays at St. Charles will give that venerable building a new mission, and a new way to share the Good News of God’s grace and mercy, offered through the Precious Blood of Jesus,” he said.
St. Charles will continue to offer a 9 a.m. Sunday Mass on weeks when there is no visiting Missionary.
